2 lbs bone marrow
1/4 cup raw butter
1/4-1/2 tsp salt (optional)
Preheat oven to 450 degree Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with foil and place bone marrow (marrow up) on sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool a bit.
Once cool enough to touch, scoop out the marrow and place it in a blender or food processor with butter and blend until it becomes a smooth consistency. Place in an air tight container and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving.
Spread on your morning toast or top on steak.
