Raw Traditional Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

(One of the simplest frostings to make).

Frosting is a great way to transform any goodie or a cup of berries from basic to extraordinary! The traditional recipe calls for raw butter and whole raw milk. Organic Pastures Raw Butter is rich in heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, CLA, "X Factor ", proteins, probiotics, vitamins, and minerals. Ingredients

2 sticks (8 ounces) Cultured (unsalted) Raw Butter, softened at room temperature

1-3 cups preferred sweetener (sweeten to your liking)

Pinch fine salt 

2 teaspoons vanilla extract 

1 to 2 tablespoons Organic Pastures Whole Raw Milk

Instructions:

Combine the softened Cultured (unsalted) Raw Butter, sugar, and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (or in a large bowl if using a handheld electric mixer). Mix on low speed until mostly incorporated. Add the vanilla, increase the speed to medium-high and mix until smooth. Adjust the consistency with milk as desired. Use immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container up to 3 days. Allow to come to room temperature and mix on medium-high until smooth. Use frosting on baked goods, as a garnish to fresh fruit, or as a delicious treat!
