Federal law mandates that raw milk or raw dairy products in liquid final package form intended for human consumption cannot be transported across state lines unless they are ultimately sent to a processing facility for pasteurization. To do so would constitute a violation of federal law CFR 1240.61
Organic Pastures Dairy does not ship or sell raw dairy products outside of California for human consumption. We ship via UPS all of our raw dairy and living food products to California residents only. This strict policy is a result of a settlement agreement reached recently with the United States Government after the Government determined that OPDC had violated CRFR 1240.61 and had shipped raw dairy products across state lines for human consumption without eventually being pasteurized.
If you live outside of California and are interested in buying raw dairy products for your lactose intolerant cat, dog or pet, please be advised that at this time we are not allowed to ship to you any of our products. We are currently in the process of negotiating with FDA on the circumstances under which it would be acceptable to ship pet food products outside of the State of California. However, if you are interested in purchasing raw dairy products for your pet please call 1-877 RAW MILK. We will collect your information and your order but will not ship the product nor charge you for it until we receive prior approval from the FDA. If we ultimately receive approval to ship raw dairy products outside of California we will contact you.
We apologize for any discomfort this policy may bring you. If you live outside of California and wish to purchase raw dairy products for human consumption we recommend that you find a local source of raw milk where it is legal to purchase such products.

OPDC statement in compliance with January 9th 2009 “FDA Deferred Prosecution and Plea Agreement”
As required for full compliance with the terms and conditions of the FDA Deferred Criminal Prosecution and Plea Agreement, it is the policy of OPDC to fully comply with this directive:
"Immediately cease offering to introduce, introduce, or cause to be introduced into interstate commerce and immediately cease delivering or causing to be delivered for introduction into interstate commerce, any un-pasteurized raw milk or raw milk products unless specifically authorized in writing by the FDA in advance of any such introduction or delivery for introduction into interstate commerce."
