USER REQUIREMENTS AND SHELF LIFE:

OP Raw butter should be kept at a constant temperature of 34-36 F to maintain its delicious and fresh taste. If the temperature is maintained, then the product should last the full 60-day date code.  OP Raw butter can be kept at room temperature. When raw butter is left at room temperature it will become easy to spread, but will also shorten in it's shelf life by an average of 2 weeks.

On June 23rd, the Mark McAfee in a cooperative multiyear effort with researchers and lawyers at FTCLDF filed a new Citizens Petition (part 2) with the FDA, demanding that Raw Butter be permitted to be sold over state lines thus… lifting the ban on interstate commerce of RAW BUTTER.

The Petition and legal brief is brilliant and touches on 110 year law, industrial food politics, food safety, food chemistry, pathogen data, the human genome project, CDC illness data, international food data, competitive bacteria in biology, tons of studies, 1906 congressional laws protecting raw butter and so much more.

We should all be extremely grateful to FTCLDF and their team of experts that helped to bring this petition to its fullest potential. It is our hope that very soon, the FDA walls that artificially divide farmers and their consumers will be torn down and raw butter will flow freely to all of America’s consumers.
